A cornerstone of Dispensational theology is the position given to the church in Scripture. Some theologians argue that the church replaced Israel while some argue that the church existed in the Old Testament, while still others say that the church only existed some time after Paul's ministry began. Some will argue that baptism is need for salvation, while others say it is only symbolic. Others will say that the Lord's Supper is irrelevant to churches today, while others will say that without participating in the Lord's Supper, we cannot be saved. In this course, the student will examine the what the Bible has to say through a dispensational view that will bring clarity to the confusion in the world today.
